Absolutely loved this piece, and will probably have to return to it a few times to fully absorb the message. But my first overriding thought is that it's so much easier to appreciate and give away the crown (of thorns) for greatness to others than to demand it of yourself. And another thought, that perhaps more so than attempting to wake up others...the very act of waking up oneself leads the way for others to wake up. That's pretty noble I would say.

Thanks Vandana, glad you liked it!

Both great thoughts, definitely agree. Learning now (although it might seem obvious) that the best way to lead others is to lead by example. I couldn't expect more from others than I do from myself. It's probably all one big mirror as to why I've noticed some of the things in this piece recently. In other words, what I notice in others is also what I notice and feel in and about myself.

On the same boat here re:leading by example, because it is one of the hardest aspects to translate into action. It's so much easier to give advice! And as for the point on the world being a mirror...oh boy...kudos to you for being so matter of fact about it. I agree with you, but for me it was a deeply uncomfortable realization to understand, mostly, because of the level of judgement I was bringing in. Emojis would really help to convey my point. Just pretend they are sprinkled here.

Haha I'll happily pretend they are sprinkled in. Yep, it's a hard thing to accept and I've had a lot of judgement too. I suppose it's half awareness of what comes up and another of being able to sit with whatever comes up. Haha emojis needed for sure.

Enjoyed this one! Wow, totally forgot about AR - what a blast from the past.

It's this ultimate question, right? How do we spend our time in a way that makes life feel meaningful? I think the answer is probably different for each of us at different points in our lives, but you hit on an interesting point here which is the balance between creation/achievement and simply just being. I've been thinking a lot about how these two things are reconciled.

Good piece!
